Nightfall Stories publishes original serialised fiction. Every story here is invented. The people, places and events in them are not real and are not based on real people, and each story says so on every page.

Why the stories are in chapters

They are written to be read a chapter at a time, the way serials have always been published. A chapter is a complete sitting — five to ten minutes — and ends where the next one begins.

Who writes them

The stories are written for this site and published under its own name rather than an individual byline. Nothing here is reprinted from elsewhere, and nothing here is submitted by readers.

How the site is funded

By advertising. Advertisements are supplied by a third-party network and are always labelled as advertisements. They are never dressed up as stories, never placed above a chapter's title, and no story is ever split further than its own structure requires in order to show more of them.

Nothing on this site is sponsored, and no advertiser has any say in what is published.
